Zahran Holding enhances industrial project performance with Oracle Cloud
Zahran Holding streamlines over 100 projects and improves decision making with Oracle Cloud.
Zahran Holding Company is a diversified investment conglomerate with a wide collection of subsidiary companies in industries including maintenance and operation, construction and contracting, travel and tourism, financial and real estate investment, and home appliances. Zahran Operations & Maintenance is the group’s flagship company, providing services predominantly for the government sector in Saudi Arabia. Previously, using standalone, on-premises applications with limited support and reporting capabilities, the company realized that it needed a single, integrated platform to unify its business operations and enhance project performance.
“With Oracle Cloud, we can manage over 100 diverse government projects more efficiently and with greater budgetary controls—on a single platform. We reduced process time for financial, procurement, and HR activities and significantly improved reporting across all functions, projects, and group companies.”
Business challenges
- Consolidate all financial, procurement, and project management activities from more than 100 operations and maintenance projects to improve planning, budget control, and management reporting
- Improve decision making by providing senior managers with accurate and timely information across all group business activities as well as on specific projects such as electrical, mechanical, or water works for government entities
- Simplify human resources (HR) and payroll for 30,000 employees working across a wide range of companies and regions
- Automate project support across finance, procurement, and HR to minimize errors, reduce labor-intensive tasks, and enhance productivity

We selected Oracle over SAP and Infor because of its superior application availability, stability, integration, and continuous enhancement. Also, Oracle is a leading and highly trusted name across all our group’s industries and provides a wealth of resources in terms of training and support.
